Civil Frequently Asked Questions

The Civil and Administrative Support Services Section’s primary focus is to work in conjunction with the Civil courts in Yolo County.  It is through the Sheriff’s department that the courts impose their mandates through orders, writs of possession, writs of execution, and other non-writ processes, including small claims, summons and complaints, and restraining orders, etc.

This section provides for the department’s receptionist function as well as clerical support for the Coroner’s section and the Field Operations Division.
