Monroe Detention
Center Visiting Hours:
There is no general population visiting on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.
Inmates may have two
(2) 30-minute visits per week (Week is from Monday through Sunday).
Visitors must be 18 years of age and posses a valid identification with
a photograph. Wives who are under 18 must have a valid ID and copy of
the marriage certificate along with a copy of the parents consent.
A visitor under 18
years of age must be a member of the inmate’s immediate family and be
accompanied by a parent or guardian. Check the family visits schedule
for special family visiting hours.

Leinberger Detention Facility Visiting Hours:
Inmates may receive
no more than three (3) visitors per visiting day. Any change from this
has to be obtained from the Correctional Lieutenant or Correctional
Sergeant prior to visiting day. Visiting registration is on a first
come first serve basis.
The length of your
visit may be limited depending on the number of visitors who register.

Visiting is on
Saturdays and Sundays in the morning and afternoon. Even numbered dorms
will have visiting in the morning and the odd numbered dorms will have
visiting in the afternoon.

Family Visits:
Family visits are
once a month at the Monroe Detention Center only. The Pod Officer will
provide the inmate with a schedule for your appointed day. The inmate
will schedule the time of the visit and it is his/her responsibility to
inform the family of the appointed time to visit.

FAMILY VISITS ARE TO
ALLOW CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18) TO VISIT WITH THEIR
PARENT. DEFINITION OF CHILDREN SHALL BE THOSE CHILDREN BORN TO THE
INMATE, ADOPTED BY THE INMATE OR LEGALLY UNDER THE GUARDIANSHIP OF THE
INMATE. BROTHERS AND SISTERS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN WILL BE ALLOWED
TO VISIT. ALL OTHERS WILL NEED SPECIAL PERMISSION FROM THE CORRECTIONAL
LIEUTENANT.
1. Inmates
may request a family visit by filling out an appointment sheet.
2. Approved
family visits must be listed in the records department before
visits are
allowed.
3. No more
than (two) 2 children may visit at a time. They must be accompanied by
an
adult. If an
inmate has more than 2 children they will need two appointments.
Children shall not be left unattended in the lobby.
4. Visits
are for 30 minutes only, unless permission has been given to extend the
visit.
Hospital Visits:
If hospitalized, the
inmate must obey the rules of the hospital and shall not receive
visitors without the written approval of the Correctional Lieutenant.
Your visitor can receive written permission at the Monroe Center
