For the most current information on the Monticello Fire in Yolo County click here for the Cal Fire Website. As of July 6th, 2014 @ 8:00pm approximately 7,000 acres have been burned and the fire is 30% contained. Evacuations will be lifted for all residences on Highway 128 from County Road 87 to Positas Road at 8:00 p.m. Campgrounds along Highway 128 remain under the evacuation order. Highway 128 remains closed from Highway 121 to County Road 87, this includes Pleasants Valley Road. The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office continues to work with Cal-Fire, PG&E and Red Cross in our efforts to get residents back into their homes as quickly and safely as possible.June 13, 2014
